Slight creases on the cover, slight tear at cover edge
Photographys by Yutaka Hirasawa taken in Tokyo during the famous student protests in 1969/70.
“What can photographs really accomplish, I wondered, and yet I continued to take my pictures everyday. I needed more film. How much I was hindered by my poor photographic skill. And then there were limits to my physical strength as well.
Resultingly, this photo book was not created with an intent to represent this fight in its entirety. The goal was, simply, to capture a fragment of the earnest, spirited people who were alive during that era.”
