eff Wall, is a Canadian artist. He was born on September 29, 1946 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Jeff is known for his innovative photographs and historical writing. Since the early 1970’s Jeff Wall has been a key player in the Canadian art world. Jeff Wall has published essays on Dan Graham, Rodney Graham, Roy Arden, Ken Lum, Stephen Balkenhol, On Kawara, and other contemporary artists. He has received many awards including the Hasselbad Award (2002), he was a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada in 2006 and was given the Audain Prize for Lifetime Achievement in March of 2008.
