Set of three books

This three-volume book set published by world-renowned photographer Sarah Moon in collaboration with one of the world’s most legendary fashion houses explores the history of Dior’s fashion in photography.

The first volume, photographed entirely in black-and-white, interweaves iconic items designed by Christian Dior between 1947 and 1957 with architectural and artful compositions. In volume two, Moon examines the rich and influential legacy of Dior’s artistic directors featuring designs and garments designed by Yves Saint Laurent, Raf Simons, Gianfranco Ferré, Marc Bohan and John Galliano. Volume three, photographed in 2022, is composed of a visual collaboration between Sarah Moon and Maria Grazia Chiuri, Dior’s current artistic director.

Designed with the understated grace and beauty typical of Dior’s sophisticated garments, “Dior by Sarah Moon” highlights the deep connections between fashion and photography and celebrates the artistic sensibilities of two French icons: Sarah Moon and Dior.
