The surface of the skin, being the wall between the inner and the outer, allows me to look into the blood vessels, imagine the bones, and give a sense of the spirit, hidden somewhere deep inside. The shape of the body, enveloped in gentle curvature is a matiere with so many marks that cannot be fully understood. That is something pure and is a primitive subject. I cannot help being fascinated by the unlimited expressions that come into being from such bodies.
