The photographs in Chan Wai Kwong’s “Shun Tak people” were taken in 2015 in the Shun Tak district in China’s Guangdong region. This is where one side of the artist’s family comes from. With the personal significance that this region must hold for the artist in mind, the already spellbinding street photographs – this time with significant focus on children – take on an even deeper meaning.
