The eighth issue of Osaka-based street photography magazine Vacuum again serves as a regular window into the current state of Japanese street photography. Like in previous issues, the ten contributors (Yuko Hirano, Mei Hirano, Takuya Suzuki, Jumpei Seto, Nagisa Goto, Jun Abe, Shogo Yamada, Hsuan Lang Lin, Jade Chen and Ryosuke Koshino) were free to explore themes, styles and locations without a guiding theme. “Vacuum” lives and breathes photography, without a single square inch of its pages used for anything but photographs.
