Akiko OTAKE
大竹昭子
Born in Tokyo, Japan. Graduated from Sophia University, Faculty of Letters, Department of Sociology. Began photography and writing in 1979 while living in New York. He has written across genres, including nonfiction, essays, novels, and photography criticism. In 2008, he was nominated for the 34th Kawabata Yasunari Literary Award for his short story "You can visit at any time. "Member of the selection committee for the 28th Bunkamura Dumago Literary Award, 2018 (term of office: July 1, 2017 - July 30, 2018).
