Seven Zines
This set of seven zines made by the anonymous collective Vvery Negative Gucci Production and designer Texas Knuller celebrates the work of Japanese fashion designer Rei Kawakubo and her fashion label Comme des Garcons. Six of the zines are dedicated to the inventive, unusual styles of Comme Des Garcons’ ready-to-wear catalogue of the early- and mid-90s (starting with the Spring 1992 collection and ending in Fall 1995) and feature one A3-size poster each. The seventh magazine, titled “Rei Kawakubo”, features promotional and press images of Kawakubo herself throughout her career as a fashion designer.
