he joint venture PCT (Pictut) was established by former members of the monthly magazine Nippon Camera (Nippon Camera Co., Ltd.), which ceased publication in April 2021. The company creates a place where photography enthusiasts can share the latest information on photography and cameras, as well as the enjoyment and appeal of a photography culture that has been handed down from the past, present and future, and transmits this information to the world from ‘Photo and Culture, Tokyo’. In addition, the company publishes magazines, photo books and other print media, and operates J-Camera, a search site for used cameras and accessories, in order to communicate the deep and diverse world of photography and cameras. The company name PCT stands for PICTURE (photography) and is derived from the initials of Photo and Culture, Tokyo.
