Born in Tokyo in 1968, graduated from the Department of Mathematical Engineering, College of Industrial Science and Technology, Nihon University in 1991, and began working as a freelance photographer in 1993. His works include "your face project", "FLOW AND FUISON", and "one day". Major solo exhibitions include "Eluting Cities" (I.C.A.C. Weston Gallery, 1993), "your face" (Photo Gallery International, 2006), and "one day" (MEM Osaka, 2009). Major group exhibitions include "San Marino International Photo Meeting" (San Marino, Italy) in 1997, "The 16th Exhibition of the Society of Photography" (PLACE M) in 2004, "Photography Today 3: Six Essays on the Critical" (The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo) in 2006, "Contemporary Photography He was awarded the 2004 Photographic Society of Japan Award and the 2007 Newcomer's Award of the Photographic Society of Japan, and in 2012 he spent a year in Los Angeles, California, as an overseas trainee artist with the Agency for Cultural Affairs.
