Started his carrier as professional photographer in 1998. Tsutomu has been shooting snowboard scenes in Japan and other countries. His works has been published for over 25 years. Based in Hakuba area in Nagano where Japan Alps standing right next to. Specialized to backcountry photo shooting where Tsutomu has been familiar with since he was little. Tsutomu is also showing local snowboard cultures to outside of Hakuba area. One of the few photographers who is specialized to backcountry photo shooting in Japan.
Recently, Tsutomu has been shooting human roots and arctic photograpy while he travels around the arctic to searching for snow-tribe of this planet.
His recent photo shows and slide show has been showing us the great cycles of life in the earth of our nature, and telling us climate and environmental changes that we don’t realize.
