Published by FW: books in 2015, Yuji Hamada’s C/M/Y is the photographers second publication since his first photobook photograph. Working closely with the German graphic designer Hans Gremmen, C/M/Y visualizes Hamada’s photographic series _C/M/Y 1_waterfall _in printed form. The images within are a selection of photographs from the series which explores the possibilities of capturing light found within our landscapes. Here Hamada carefully de-constructs the photographic process, re-creating the captured image into vision of colour and form, harmoniously bringing forth both the technique and photographic process within his much anticipated second publication which continues to ask the question ‘what is a photograph?’.
