“Mask”, Kikuji Kawada’s entry to Nazraeli Press’ ‘One Picture Book’ series, features eleven photographs of a series he made in the mid-1970s. In playful but eery images of his subjects wearing grotesque masks in everyday situations, Kawada deals with themes of the self and the other, social relations and expectations and self-expression.

The book is limited to an edition of 500. Each copy includes a 5x7 print signed by the artist.
