Published by limArt and produced by Yusuke Nakajima and Yoshihisa Tanaka, VARIOUS COVERED AUTOMOBILES is the second installment of a series of photobooks which pay homage and reference the influencial series of artist books produced by Ed Ruscha throughout the 1960s and 1970s. Within this edition, Takashi Homma presents a collection of photographs which document covered vehicles found throughout the surburbs of Japan. The publication wonderfully applies Ruscha's iconic design used in his VARIOUS SMALL FIRES, producing a body of work which departs from the original, referencing its influences whilst exploreing Homma's orignal themes.
