Photos become expressions for the first time only after having been printed. Prolific photographer Nobuyoshi Araki has published close to 400 photo books. “Kotoshi” acts as a summary of the 12 books Araki released this year, 2005.
Large format photographs taken with a tripod intersect with photodiary-style shots and small prints of quick snapshots, and cut through this 60th year after the end of the War.
