Photographer Harumichi Saito's column in the Japanese weekly magazine has finally been collected in a book. 80 entries from over five years (the column started in 2012), chosen by Saito, were edited and collected to represent his series.
The book consists of Saito's calm and serene slice-of-life photographs as well as the words he wrote to accompany them. But rather than explain the images, the texts are directed at the subjects in the photos or explore certain themes, in an attempt to "try and look deeply at the aspects of everyday life usually forgotten", as Saito explains.
Please note that the text in this book is in Japanese.
