Published in 2015, Chan Wai Kwong’s _Police Portrait _marks the most recent of Chan Wai Kwong’s self-published photobooks. Having published a total of 14 photobooks, _Police Portrait _is an 82 page publication containing black and white portraits of the Hong Kong Police Force. Closely focusing upon the faces of the figures, the resulting images are both frank and candid, expressing an underlying current which reveals and questions the very nature and symbol of authority through each tightly cropped frame.
